Mission/Vision
The mission of Rissabae's Classroom is to create a platform so that every person can discover his/her true potential by facilitating the development of higher-order thinking skills. Through the joy of learning, students will use this thinking to solve cross-curricular academic and real-world/life problems and imagine their childhood dreams. Can you imagine what it would feel like to have the necessary tools for success so you do not have to worry about failure!
Dear learners
I’ve created this website to provide you with helpful FREE mini-lesson via YouTube, incredibly affordable private tutoring, group tutoring, and personalized plans for all ages and learning styles. I bring JOY back to learning and I will be uploading new videos weekly. Check for the new videos!

The schedule will change weekly based on topics and levels. Sign up in advance for the class you would like to attend. If there are specific topics you would like taught, please send me a message so I can put them on the calendar! Thank you so much for your attention and participation. See you in the classroom!!!!

My toddler can read at age 3 because of Carissa. The End. 5 stars. Seriously though, absolutely amazing teacher and person. She's been working with my toddler since age 2. They do both in person and virtual learning. I was lost on what to teach after the basics, ABC's and such, so I started to look for someone who had the educational background and experience to better guide my eager learner and further challenge them. A few examples of what my child now knows; well over 50 sight words, can solve basic math problems, can read a 10 sentence story which was displayed as of today, can write certain words such as "mom", & they are working on reading comprehension for longer stories. In writing this review I'm realizing how crazy this may sound to some, but it is true. We set goals and hit them. Carissa has done an astronomical job. If she can teach all of this to a barely 3yo, just imagine how she can help your child.

Greetings! I hired Carissa for in-person work but because of the rising of cases, I decided that we would stop in person and go virtual. I was extremely nervous for her to switch to virtual but she did an absolutely incredible job with the virtual tutoring. My son is 4 years old and he responds to her really well! She knows how to keep his attention and she provides all the materials he needs. Her services are great and very professional. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to see amazing growth in their child. She is truly a gem and I don't know what I would do without her. I am a single mom and there have been times I called her last minute to babysit and she has always been dependable. I trust her and so does my son. Thank you Carissa for everything. I truly mean that!!

I hired Carissa as a virtual tutor due to the pandemic and she has been nothing but amazing with my daughter in the 4th grade who struggled with math and reading. She treats my daughter like her own and checks on her during the week. She has incredible knowledge on the state standards and she goes above and beyond to provide my daughter with the best lessons possible. She creates her worksheets based on what my daughter needs and she also has an assessment that she uses to help guide the lessons. I know she doesn't do this work for the money because she does more than what we pay her. We absolutely love her and all her services. She has videos that she makes for the kids are well. My daughter loves how much fun she has during virtual learning. I was nervous to do virtual at first because my daughter is very busy but she does amazing to keep her focused and does these fun games to help her learn. Carissa is nothing but amazing and my family would recommend her to anyone.
